Rooted and Rising
Explore growth, flexibility, and renewal through gentle movement, sensory self-care, and creative expression inspired by the Wood element of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Workshop Description
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Wood element represents growth, vision, and the rising energy of spring. When this energy is balanced, we often feel motivated, flexible, and able to move toward what matters most. When it becomes stuck or depleted, we may experience frustration, stagnation, or burnout.
Rooted and Rising is a two-hour creative wellness workshop that explores the wisdom of the Wood element through gentle embodied practices. Participants will learn simple ways to support emotional flow and renewal through mindful movement, self-massage, sensory-based self-care, and process art.
This workshop offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and explore creativity as a pathway to reflection and well-being. No prior experience with movement or art is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
